Tenley WinterFest is an eight-day celebration of the holiday season designed to showcase local businesses, community groups, and the Tenleytown, DC neighborhood – all with a unique Tenleytown flair and lots of yetis.
What began more than a decade ago as a small student craft market has grown into a celebration of the holiday season in Tenleytown. More than 30 businesses and community groups annually host WinterFest events, including the signature Yeti Scavenger Hunt, Winter Feast restaurant week, and Winter Market. Thousands visit Tenleytown each year from across the District to enjoy our yeti-themed festival.

The 2019 YETI Hunt
On December 7, bring your tracker to the
Winter Market between noon and 3:30pm to find the final yeti and claim your prize. The Yeti Hunt raffle, featuring even more prizes, will be held at 3:30pm.
